I created seventeen illustrations depicting key moments in Frida’s life, from childhood through to adulthood. These illustrations accompanied editorial stories about Frida Kahlo’s life in Bravery Magazine. Bravery Magazine is an American publication designed for children between age four and nine.
The illustrations depict Frida growing up in Mexico, including her contraction of polio during childhood and her schooling. The images also deal with her discovery of painting during the recovery from the horrific bus accident she was in. The final third of the illustrations illustrate her artistic and creative achievements.
I designed a woodland themed collage mural for the Neonatal Ward of the Women and Children’s Hospital in South Australia. The mural needed to evoke a calming, soothing and gentle atmosphere.
I recently created a series of illustrative portraits of four women whose groundbreaking work and inventions in computer science and technology shaped the development of the internet and modern computing. Melbourne based digital strategy company Cogent commissioned these portraits to hang in their offices and to highlight and celebrate the under-represented history of women in STEM.

A demonstration for a collage workshop for children.
I was asked by Disney to create a ‘Spot the Character’ collage of Winnie the Pooh and Friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. The image was used in their social media campaign which focused on contemporary artists and illustrators reinterpreting classic Disney characters in their own style.
A collage commission to celebrate Will's 30th birthday and his affection for his golden retriever Cooper, among other things. This piece pays homage to the work of Ilonka Karasz, with a modern adaptation.
Two spreads for a children’s book pitch about the life of the Rainbow Flag creator Gilbert Baker. Baker lived in San Francisco in the 1970s and created the flag as a symbol of LGBQTI unity, celebration and strength to be carried in the iconic Pride marches of the time. I was asked to create two full colour spreads.
This work was a commission for a client who had recently moved to the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. I wanted to celebrate the beauty and vibrance of the area and make something distinctly Australian that underscored the importance of enjoying, respecting and most of all protecting our costal environment. The collage is A2 in size and composed of disparate scenes depicting both the human and native bird life that populates the area.
A collage commission celebrating the first birthday of Violet.
I worked with Clemenger BBDO to create the imagery for the Eastland Shopping Centre 2019 Easter Holiday Program.
My paper collage portrait of florist, social entrepreneur and disability advocate Nipuni Wijewickrema was published in Penguin Books 'Stand Up for the Future - A Celebration of Inspirational Young Australians'.

I created the Summer banner image for the Readings Children’s Bookstores. These images were used in a window display throughout their stores across Melbourne.
I illustrated the cover artwork for Kate Oliver's ‘Passing Clouds - Mindfulness Songs for Children (and their Grown-Ups)’. Kate has created an album of expressive, meditative and instructive songs for children (and their adults as the title suggests). The songs explore emotional resilience and understanding, breath-work and meditation. They can be sung in a group, a classroom, in the car, used as active meditations or played while sitting or lying down. Album layout and design by Luci Everett.
I created a collage papercut to accompany The Art Gallery of South Australia's 'START Art Prize 2024'.

I was commissioned to design this poster as an early learning aid. I designed the Look at Chooks poster to be a simple guide to identifying chickens. I used bright, bold and colourful images designed to appeal to a toddler learning basic words and sounds.
Look at Chooks is A2 in size and was created using a mixture of hand-made collage and digital compilation.
I created a collage portrait of Julia Child for the seventh edition of Bravery Magazine.

'A Home in the Hills' is a large scale collage of a cottage in the Adelaide Hills that I lived in for a period of time. The Adelaide Hills are a lush and beautiful region, full of bird and animal life. Kookaburras, galahs, native ducks, magpies, rosellas and chickens cheep, cluck, squawk, laugh, crow and warble amongst the sound and sight of sheep baa-ing, horses neighing, dogs barking and kangaroos and koalas in the distance. Prints of this collage will be available soon.
An illustration celebrating the third birthday of my niece.

Modern Art Madames is a series of six illustrations that teamed iconic Modern artists with fabric and dress design. Each work is created using a cut and paste technique; I glued individual pieces of paper to a board to assemble the final image. I later scanned the original collages and made limited edition prints which were sold in sets of two.
The artists I referenced include Henri Matisse, Jean-Jaques Rosseau, Gustav Klimt, Georges Braque and Fernand Léger.
The State Library of Victoria have teamed up with art site Redbubble in a challenge called Create Art History, which invites artists to create their own designs inspired by classic works and reference imagery from the library’s collection. I chose the theme ‘Weird and Wonderful Creatures’, a collection of fantastical beasts from a selection of rare books the library owns. These books date back to 1493 and are from a period of increasing discovery and exploration of the natural world, which artists of the era responded to with wonder and imagination. I based my composition and palette on alchemical drawings being created at the time which similarly sought to understand the physical and spiritual world.
Selected pages from ‘The Circus Book’. I created the Circus Book as a piece of personal work to explore character development, colour and storytelling in children’s illustration. Words by Helen Lindstrom.
‘In the Garden’ for a personalised illustration commission. This piece is inspired by Jessie Willcox Smith’s illustrations of women and children from the early 20th century.
