Modern Art Madames is a series of six illustrations that teamed iconic Modern artists with fabric and dress design. Each work is created using a cut and paste technique; I glued individual pieces of paper to a board to assemble the final image. I later scanned the original collages and made limited edition prints which were sold in sets of two.
The artists I referenced include Henri Matisse, Jean-Jaques Rosseau, Gustav Klimt, Georges Braque and Fernand Léger.
